Dear internet, It seems that I’m getting the hang of this typing business. Thought I'd drop by to tell you about how yesterday went and give you an update on my little companions, Elysia the spider and Flint the crow—though I’m still working on those nicknames! The day started off like most do, with a check-up on Elysia and Flint. Elysia was a bit feistier than usual, bless her fuzzy little legs so I decided to give her a good brushing. Would you believe it? I found nine of those pesky little critters hidden in her fur! Not a big deal, just gave her a thorough grooming, and she’s as good as new. After that, it was a pretty standard day. Trained my magic a bit—always good to keep the ol' skills sharp. Went foraging for some food, came back with a decent haul. Then I continued working on the table I’ve been building for my hut. It’s coming along quite nicely, if I say so myself! Just need to smooth out the corners with some sanding and apply a finish, and it'll be complete. All in all, nothing too out of the ordinary, but sometimes those quiet days are the best ones.
